If you’ve ever read (or meant to get round to reading!) I Can’t Stop Eating and thought, “This makes sense… but how do I actually do it?” — this workshop is for you.

The RALIC Method is a practical, grounding process I developed to help calm emotional overwhelm and reduce compulsive behaviours — especially around food, but it can be used in any area of life where you feel hijacked by strong feelings or urges.

In this live 2–3 hour session, I’ll walk you step by step through the method, explaining how it works, when to use it, and what to expect. You’ll learn:

  • How to regulate your emotions in the moment, even when everything in you wants to escape.

  • How to anchor yourself in the present so you can make choices from awareness, not impulse.

  • Why so many of us get “stuck” in reactivity — and how RALIC can gently bring you back to yourself.

  • Real-life examples of how I (and my clients) use RALIC when stress, shame, or self-criticism take over.

You’ll also have the chance to volunteer to have a go yourself if you are happy to be in the demonstration.

Whether you’ve finished the book, half-read it, or never opened it — this is your chance to experience the method, not just understand it intellectually. Once you’ve felt it work in your body, it’s something you can keep returning to for life.
