Finding the right support for your recovery journey is important, and I aim to offer a range of services that meet different needs, budgets, and levels of commitment. Whether you’re just starting out or looking for more intensive therapeutic support, you’ll find options here to suit your circumstances.
I’m committed to making recovery support as accessible and affordable as possible. Alongside individual and group therapy, I offer lower-cost options such as the Connect and Recover Groups, a supportive online community, and free resources like my YouTube videos and podcast episodes. Each service is designed to meet you where you are, and you can explore the list below to find the best fit for you.
Regretfully, I am unable to accept insurance. However, I hope the range of options available means that you can find the support you need at a price that feels manageable.
Individual Psychotherapy Sessions
When we work together one-to-one, you’ll have the chance to speak freely, be heard without judgement, and explore what’s really going on beneath the bingeing. I’ll meet you where you are. You don’t have to figure this out on your own.
Online Group Therapy
These weekly online therapy groups offer a powerful opportunity to break free from the shame and isolation of binge eating by connecting with others who truly understand. If you’re ready for a different kind of support, you’re warmly invited to join us.
Connect & Recover Groups
This small-group course offers three hours of dedicated time with me in an intimate setting, where you’ll get personalised support from me and connection with others on the same path. Plus, you’ll be invited to free ongoing support meetings with me after the course to help you stay connected and supported going forward.
Intuitive Eating Blueprint Course
If traditional approaches haven’t worked for you, this rebel-friendly course is designed to help you make peace with food on your own terms. Your Intuitive Eating Blueprint offers the structure, support, and flexibility you need to build a way of eating that truly fits you.
ADHD x Binge Eating Group
A two-day, in-person workshop in Bournemouth, UK exploring the connection between ADHD and binge eating through psychoeducation, group discussion, and personal reflection. Held in a cosy residential setting with a small group.
YouTube
Welcome to my channel, The Binge Eating Therapist. I’m Sarah and I am a former binge eater turned psychotherapist. My mission is to use this space to share content with you that will help you to make sense of your struggle with food and break free from compulsive eating and binge eating.
I Can't Stop Eating Book
If you feel out of control around food, I Can’t Stop Eating offers both hope and practical help. Written by an eating disorder psychotherapist with lived experience, this Amazon best seller reveals why willpower isn’t the answer — and what actually works. With compassion and clarity, Sarah Dosanjh shares the tools and insights that can help you break free from binge eating for good.
Life After Diets Podcast
Life After Diets is a weekly podcast that delves into the complexities of healing your relationship with food and your body, once you’ve walked away from dieting. But this isn’t a “tips and tricks” show; it’s a raw, reflective, often vulnerable space where Sarah Dosanjh, a psychotherapist, and Stefanie Michele, a mindset coach, speak from both professional experience and lived experience.
Meet Sarah
I’m a qualified and BACP-accredited psychotherapist specialising in binge eating — not just through training, but lived experience too. After over a decade of struggling with binge eating and bulimia, it was deep inner work that finally transformed my relationship with food. That journey now informs how I support others.
Since publishing I Can’t Stop Eating (an Amazon bestseller) in 2020, I’ve raised awareness through BBC Radio One, Sky’s Roundtable, BBC Breakfast, and professional trainings. My YouTube videos exploring recovery and self understanding have been viewed over 3 million times.
